Mother Father God. Holy Spirit. Divine Source. I struggle as I see our country from my human experience. So much division and injustice, greed for power and money, abandonment and selfishness. Today, I want to see not with my human eyes but with the sight of my higher-self. Let me see our country as God sees it. Let me put aside my judgement of right or wrong and fair or unfair. Let me see beyond personalities to the core Spirit within every person. Let me feel connected to them and let them feel connected to me. Let us be united for the highest and best good of our country. Holy Spirit, give us pause before voting so we may listen to that still small voice guiding our choices tomorrow on election day. Allow our choices to be for positive change and healing. I declare faith and trust in democracy; that Truth will prevail. Mahatma Gandhi said, “If you want to change the world, be that change.” Let each of us be that change. Amen.
