Traditional Usui Reiki

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is a combination of two Japanese kanji: "rei" which represents universal, present everywhere and "ki" which represents life energy or life force. Reiki is administered by the practitioner placing their hands on or slightly hovering just above the body. Reiki flows from the practitioner's hands into the client's body and energy field promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and supporting the body's natural healing processes.

Hospice Reiki

Hospice Reiki is a specialized form of Reiki practice that provides comfort, peace, and spiritual support to individuals in hospice care. It is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing modality that helps ease physical discomfort, emotional distress, and spiritual anxiety during the end-of-life transition. Hospice Reiki practitioners offer compassionate, soothing touch (or hands-off energy work) to promote relaxation, reduce pain, and bring a sense of calm and acceptance to both the patient and their loved ones.
